Upcoming Summer Events Centre County and Beyond.

Continuing with the theme of scenic bike rides and other local events, I add here information on some upcoming events for this summer:

Importantly, some of these qualify under Free things to do in Central PA

FAIRS (Events are free - parking may/not be free)

• Monday MAY 27th BOALSBURG MEMORIAL DAY FESTIVAL (free-street festival/grounds)
  
  
• May 31, June 1, June 2 NITTANY ANTIQUE MACHINERY SHOW (entry free)
  39th Annual Spring Show

BIKE RIDES  (not free, but probably worth it)

THREE different events - ride one or ride them all!

• Registration open: Bike Fresh Allegheny County - Sunday, June 2
• Registration open: Bike Fresh Centre County - Sunday, August 4
• Registration open: Bike Fresh Chester County - Sunday, September 22

Depending on what you eat, the above three cover lunch and a beer (if over 21) for participants. You also get the advantage of traffic free bike trails, so you don't have to worry about cars etc. And a great opportunity to meet other vendors/people etc.
